Enligt India Times ska inte icke-amerikanska privatpersoner ha några stora förhoppningar om att få investera i Google i samband med börsintroduktionen. De hänvisar till följande passage i noteringsprospektet: "We have not undertaken any effort to qualify this offering for offers to individual investors outside the US; individual investors outside the US should not expect to be eligible to participate."
